JATO JAM/JHM Series Spindle Collet Chuck is specially designed to provide users with the best solution to design and build their special purpose machines.

A traditional power workholding system consists of a rotary spindle, a power chuck, and an actuator(cylinder). JAM/JHM combines these three elements in one, making it very easy for machine builders to design a high production workpart auto-loading/auto-machining system since the profile of the workholding system especially the axial thickness of the system is largely minimized.

JAM/JHM now is widely used to build special purpose machines with workpart auto-loading, NC controlled machining. Since we also longer the chucking length of the collet, JAM/JHM is mostly used to chuck double-ended workparts like hubs of bicycle wheels or piston rods of automobiles.
